When I dropped my hard disk..

It happened two weeks ago..

My new HD(2 months+, second one after first one rosak on the first day itself) which is a Western Digital hard disk..It worked really fine..as fine as the..

Until one day, this showed up...

Yes..The worst thing that would ever happen to a pc and laptop, the infamous Blue Screen of Death(BSOD)..

I was furious and frustrated as my exams is about commence and yet I have to waste time fixing it. And so I went to LowYat plaza to enquire about the problem and I was told that its the hard disk problem.. It has to be sent to the manufacturer to be exchanged and its gonna take a month..Since I forgot to backup my precious data, I then went back home and try transfer the data to my old retarded Hard disk..

I was happily transferring my files when I want to drink water, only to tripped on the cable and the hard disk dropped..

I was listening to a football podcast and it stopped and the hard disk is not working anymore..

I immediately had this reaction..

I tried connect again and it does not work..I googled it and they say that the hard disk is completely dead..Omg..

Fortunately I was able to transfer all the pictures that I took to my old hard disk, or I'll be really emo. But losing all my songs that I've organized perfectly is also a bad thing as well..

Now I just hope that they can exchange a new hard disk for me and hopefully this thing can last me at least like 3 years...

On the other hand, I would like to express my condolences to a school friend of mine, Cheah Kar Lubb who passed away on Saturday. Although we're not close, but to hear that one of your friends passed away is shocking and sad..It made me reflect on my life for a while..

RIP..

Exams,exams and heartbreak..

The next few weeks will be quite busy as my finals are coming to haunt me. After more than 10 weeks of neglecting my studies, it is time for the Exam Gods to judge me by giving tests..Yea right..

The take-home assignments were supposed to be released this morning, but we waited and waited..From 12Pm to 5Pm till now..Better demand for deadline extension..LOl..

The exam will start on Monday with Moral. It sucks that the deadline for CB is on Monday and hopefully the submission time will not clash with the exam time watever..I just want to finish everything asap..

Am I sad?

maybe....

Pomeranian Delight?

Just 3 weeks after Cherry and Berry came into our household, a Pomeranian is most likely on her way to the Chin household..She's a 2 year old Pomeranian and ETA is this Sunday..

My house's turning into a mini petting zoo now..Lets see, we have fishes, and hamsters..Now tambah satu Pom pulak..But I heard she's cute and obedient..Should be a great addition..

Life's been boring a bit since my stint with DLL ended..It was fun,boring,tiring,exciting..All in the 20 days stint..They all treated me like I'm the youngest(Dont call me kid la Tas!)..But the experience was unforgettable..Get to know many kids(Ethan,Isaac,Jeslyn etc..) Maybe they'll forget us already but I hope that they remembered what they have learned at least..

295..

Yes..It was 10.05 am and I'm the 295th customer..Lucky eh?

I never thought of getting anything from this promotion. Just wanted to try the World Famous Melt in Your Mouth Doughnuts which is Krispy Kreme. Many people that have tried it before always give good response. Have a very high expectation for this..

1 or 2 minutes after I joined the queue, the 300th customer already started queuing as well. She's definitely a lucky girl. Get to chat with a nice lady (294). Working in a research company. Nice and friendly.

Anyway more pics..

Krispy Kreme hat..Made in Mexico..

It was a U-shaped queue starting from the entrance. Took some time for them to actually start selling doughnuts as they have to take pics with the 'Krispy 6'. Named them 'Krispy 6' coz they're bunch of friends who actually camped since Saturday afternoon..Really fun eh?

Finally, they're giving out samples of Krispy Kreme doughnuts..Overheard someone said 'Very Nice'.

Its finally in my hands..hehe

Guess what, it really melts in your mouth, reminds me of the famous roast pork in Pudu my mum always talked about. However,it was too sweet. I had to drink lots of water to get rid of the sweet flavour. Cant consume many of these or else will kena Diabetes.haha..

The first 6 contestants walking along the hall of fame, or should I say the battlefield where they camped for 2 days??

The first 6 customers..Girl in the middle is customer number 1..Dang she gets to eat all the doughnuts..But is it worth the effort? Well at least they get to appear on the newspaper next day..

Krispy Kreme..

The Souvenirs on display. You can purchase it if you want to..LOl..

Doughnuts queuing in line..Waiting to be fried..Yummy..

I bet he's drooling..No??

The counter..

It opens at 8am daily and closes between 11 pm and 12pm..Now there's another reason for supper and Diabetes..

And I present to you, my mug!!!

Costs Rm25..Not bad..

That's all..Wasted too much time on this..Faster post your LONG post wei..

君わレリナか???

Regretted introducing this website omegle.com to Lele.. The next thing, she keeps on bugging me with 'Are U Leslie' and her chat with numerous strangers. Some are funny though. Hope you would forget this website forever and ever.. Disturbing and annoying...LOL..

Watched Friday the 13th on Monday. I actually thought it was a scary movie, but in the end what scared me was the loud sound whenever Jason(The Killer) appears out of nowhere and kill his victims in the most vicious way. This dude, Jason although looks big in size can actually run fast, throws axe to kill his victim in an excellent and is probably an understudy of Legolas due to his excellent archery skills. And whenever he falls into this lake, he'll seem to revive back to gain his revenge on his victims. Overall it was an okay movie.. I was lucky not to watch 'Coming Soon'. Someone told me that it's a freaking scary movie.

FOA is coming..Hope for the best..I'm gambling my future. Failure is not an option.

Extra..

Today I had a chance to appear on the TV screen, as an extra though.. Nicholas asked me to join in as well after he applied for it.. I was reluctant at first but the money tempted me to go for it (Rm 50 though).

It was at some office in Sri Damansara , the cast manager Yoke Fun asked us to bring a few formal wear to change it for other scenes. There were 10 of us extras at the scene.

Overall , we spent 12 hours at the office acting as some small level office workers. We're the office guys who walk around the office, pretending to talk about big projects while we're actually playing tic tac toe on the paper. We also had a scene where we get to eat this 3 week old Tiramisu cake..It was quite fun..

Met new friends and the actors as well..The director is quite professional but demanding..Many takes were taken probably coz she paid a lot of attention to the slightest detail..

Overall had a nice experience today. Dont mind appearing again on the telly..

Two more weeks to Doom..

Week 5 is almost over and I still struggle in FOA..The next two weeks will really determine my future for some reason. Pass and I'll go Monash..Fail and I er..well.. do not want to know what will happen. Going to do my very best for it but hope that God will help me in the process to pass FOA..

On the other, some MQA interview is going to be held for SBS students next Wed. And I'm selected as one of the 'Priority' students by Miss Wong in case we're being selected for the interview. Have to wear smart casual next Wed...

Everything's going not right for me now..The tension's building up and the pressure's getting on my nerves..Hmm..

Ice Skate

Went for Ice skating thanks to Lele which I agreed though..Jeffrey went as well..

Paid Rm13 for the session..Overall it wasnt that bad..Jeffrey was nice teaching me and helping me when I almost fell a few times..Meanwhile Lele was having fun and looking at me hoping someone to fell in spectacular fashion.

Had my own fun trying to move faster like the other skaters out there but the pain in both of my legs in unbearable. It was painful and I took one of the fastest showers ever after I came back..

The traffic at Sunway and around Subang was terrible..Took my bus at 7.15Pm...reached home around 9.30..

Wont go for it again unless I'm forced to..Heheh..

Week Recap-Tamadun,Sashimi and exams..

Just a short recap on what happened during the past few days..

Spent a few hours thinking on how to write an introduction for my Tamadun Islam essay. Its been a while since I wrote anything more than 10 words in Bahasa Malaysia. Took me quite some time to think of those 'bombastic' words to apply to my essay. Furthermore the references that I took from is in English. I have to translate those complicated words into BM which is time wasting to me.. If only the subject is taught in English, I could have finished it by now.

Went for dinner at Jogoya on Wednesday. There was this promotion where 50% discount is being offered for patrons that have the VIP card. Borrowed it from my aunt and went for a food feast.Ate plates of sashimi's like there's no tomorrow. However its not that nice overall..Wont go there again unless there's any other promotion..End up having stomach ache for the whole Thursday in which I was supposed to go for this blood donation campaign. The stupid blackout caused me to change my whole schedule in which I have to forgone it and losing my Xperteleven match. Already untung from so many resit papers but still fail to pay your electricity bills..

Took the coursework test at the computer lab for Tamadun yesterday.Managed to pass considering the fact that I study it at the very last minute. Have to really start revising FOA or end up being a total loser at the end of the semester.

What else do I have to write?? Nothing for now..

Frackin demoralized..

The TARC website definitely has been one of the hit websites these few days. Students checking every minute waiting for their results to be released. It was so popular that the server could not handle the massive request.

It took me 30 minutes to check out the results. And yet again, I failed my FOA.. This is the third time that I've failed this level 1 paper and I'm frackin demoralized.

The fact that some of my classmates got good grades for the resit paper shows how weak I am in this subject. Mum says that I did not put enough effort on it. I was a bit pissed off.. Does that mean studying FOA like there's no tomorrow few days before the exam wasnt counted as an effort? Doing revision one month before the exam is not counted as an effort? To be honest, I spent more time studying FOA than the other level 3 papers and yet I still got a F for it.

Other than FOA, I've been told that the Advance Diploma program will start in May. That means I have to decide fast on where to continue my degree program. But then again, can Monash even accept me, a student that get 3 straight F's for FOA?

I realised that blogging is a good thing to express your frustration and stuff..

Taking a break..

Sunny Singapore will continue once I have the desire to post it..Its been a tiring week for me, both physically and mentally.

Went to the gym at Wednesday and it was one of the most tiring days of my life..Slept around 10Pm and woke up the next morning around 9.30..Yes..almost 12 hours of sleep..Its been a while since I slept that early. Next day was Tennis and it was as tiring as the gym. I still prefer the gym because it offers more variety of exercises..Hope that I can spend more time on it..Exercise is important ...haha

Mentally, I feel exhausted and full of pressure..Exam results is going to be released tomorrow in the morning, followed by my Intermediate 1 Japanese exam results...I kinda did bad for my FOA but I still hope for a miracle to happen. How can a level 1 paper be this damn hard!?

There were also other problems, but that is just the simple relationship stuff..All I can say is that I choose to not give a damn about it at all..I wondered if it exists at all..

Bye bye..

Sunny Singapore Part 4

This is a continuation of Sunny Singapore Part 3..

After having some fun at the Singapore Discovery Centre , I took the same bus (182) back to Boon Lay Bus Hub where I actually wanted to go to Chinatown, but there's a shopping centre next to it.. So I reckon I should head there and have a look or two..

Jurong Point..Located just next to Boon Lay MRT..
The entrance to the mall..

I planned to walk around Jurong Point for 5-10 minutes..It took me 2 hours+..

Guess its because of the sales in Singapore that tempted me to walk around the whole area, lurking for Abba Dvd's and cheap clothes..

When I first entered , I actually thought that its going to turn out like Desa Complex(Cheapo Shops with cheapo stuff)..I completely changed my mind when I walked around and saw the shops and restaurants that were available.

There's Ding Tai Fong and Thai Express and also a mini Japanese Food lane where all the Japanese food and restaurants were available. Although there's no high end shops around, there's always the standard Levi's,Giordano's and Court's,suitable for everyone..

Jurong Point will be a place to remember for few reasons:

1.Leslieweslie bought his first hip-hopish Jacket (SGD20)
2.Leslieweslie also bought his first set of accessories..(SGD 8.90)

Dang..This mall is even better than Jusco Metro Prima by miles...

Some of the pics that I took:

Doesnt it look a bit like The Gardens,Midvalley??

Spade..They have nice clothes..But its kinda expensive though..

For lunch, I ate Pork Katsu Don which also includes Miso Soup..The price is SGD 4.50..And it doensnt suck..Besides the auntie was friendly to me as well..

Yummy eh?

After that, I decided to go to Funan DigitaLife Mall and get my iPod casing once and for all..Sim Lim doesnt have the casing that I want and its expensive..Furthermore I have never set foot at Funan before..So its a good chance for me and have a look..To go to Funan, you just need to take the MRT and alight at City Hall Interchange..Directions is available at the station to direct you to the place..A mere 5 minutes walk from the station..

I spent about 30-45 minutes at Funan, surveying for the best and affordable iPod casing..But in the end I chose:

The Belkin Remix Metal..Its very kick@$$ looking and it only costs SGD 29.90 or Rm72 after conversion..Of course this is not the retail price as other shops sells it for SGD39.90 or Rm96.. So I think its worth it to get it at that price..It protects the screen as well..

I wanted to go back to InnCrowd and rest before moving on to my next journey. But I went the other way round and actually managed to cover the areas that I did not want to visit at the first which is the Esplanade Area..Coz I already covered the place during my first trip..

The first place that I managed to go while on the way was the Parliament of Singapore..Compare to our Malaysian Parliament, the place is quite small and not tall of course..But no doubt that its heavy secured with the CCTV's and security personnel.

Before I continued my journey, there was this cool looking building that looks like from the future and all..But I was amazed that it turns out to be:
The Supreme Court of Singapore...I thought it was some kind of big MNC company..But its definitely a nice building..

If you guys had read part 2, this place is actually Clarke Quay..Yes..Singapore is that small..

Tall skyscrapers..

Ok..Thats it..Already got bored of writing this..Will continue with part 5 when I'm free..haha..

Sir Thomas Raffles saying 'Ciao'..

Sunny Singapore Part 3

This is a continuation of Sunny Singapore Part 2..

My first day in Singapore ended with a 1 hour Internet session at the nearest Internet Cafe, tempting Lele with Zara sales(Over already) and telling how great the place is..

I had my dinner(or supper?) around 12.15 am at the Indian restaurant nearby. Walked too much until I forgot the time and my dinner..Ate Nasi Goreng Biasa (SGD 2.80) and Teh Tarik (SGD 1.00). It was nice and full..

DAY 2

After my breakfast and all, I finally decided to visit the Singapore Discovery Centre which is located near the Jurong Birdpark. Its around 10 mins away from the Boon Lay MRT station by taking bus no 182 or 193 at the Boon Lay Bus Hub..

Bus 182..

Bus no 182 turns out to be a double-decker and I was excited as this is the first time taking a double-decker bus..But the bus was a bit old, nonetheless the bus still functions well ,unlike the Malaysian buses which have more breakdowns..Wonder when will Malaysia change???

The view from the top of the bus.

The Sunny Singapore Traffic..

Anyway I alighted at the wrong bus stop, and it took me 10 more minutes to walk to the SDC..I think its because by the time I pressed the button to ask the bus to stop, the bus already went past the bus stop that I was suppose to alight at...Oh well..

There's a lake at the SDC area.. and on weekends there's boat paddling activities available..

Near the entrance of the SDC there was this mini expo conducted by the Singapore Civil Defense Force(SCDF) .I think its some sort of awareness campaign where they displayed their fire trucks, equipments and more..

I think its a great thing to do by the respective authorities to display it especially at a tourist attraction centre..Not only it helps to spread awareness among the people, it also helps to increase the knowledge of people as well(Like me..hehe..)..

The ticket admission costs SGD 10 which also includes a free SAFTI tour and some 2D viewing which unfortunately I have to forgone it due to time constraints..

The SAFTI bus tour is a tour of the SAFTI Military Institute where it is a tri-service military training institution for all officers of the Singapore Armed Forces. So this means that the officers from the navy, airforce and army will have their training here. Because its a military place, visitors like myself cant take any pictures of the entire place during the bus tour(Sorry).

By the way, I'm the sole passenger for the bus tour as it's a weekday I suppose..But nonetheless, its a fun and educating experience. The SAFTI tour guide also asked me about our country's 'Summer Camp' aka National Service. I find it hard to explain to him as I was not picked it(Lucky!). And I told him that Malaysia's National Service is one of the crappiest things ever exist. Was kinda harsh I guess but that's the fact.

One of the old military planes that was used by the Singapore Airforce.

After the tour, I finally entered the SDC.

To cut it short, SDC is not a very interesting place although it highlights the country's infrastructure, culture and other stuff. I would rather visit the Singapore Science Centre which is way cheaper(SGD 4.50). But one of the things that I liked was when I was greeted by this cute symbol of Singapore which is:

The Merlion and his rap, 'So Singapore'. Its basically a simple musical about Singapore and its cultures, from the diversity of its people,HDB and Singlish. I find it quite funny and educating. I wonder if there's this kind of show in Malaysia.

I'll just post the rest of the pics that I took while at SDC..

A dome where there's a mini game where people can have fun building the future Singapore..Not that fun if you were to play it alone.

A flying simulator.

Leslieweslie reporting for CNN..Haha..I like this thing where you get to be a news reporter. But the quality of the recorder wasnt that good.Perhaps they should upgrade it to make it look better.
Bye Bye Mr Robot and SDC..I wont come here again.

That's all for Sunny Singapore Part 3...
