A day at Mid Valley..

Today I went to Mid Valley Megamall with Janice and Diana..The two 'Tai Kar Jie'( Big Sister) asked me to accompany them to buy stuff for the upcoming New Year Countdown at Genting Highlands. Since my family is having some wedding dinner, I decided to go there and spend my time there.

When we reached our destination(4.45pm) the first we did was to survey the price of various items that we're gonna purchase(Snacks,Cup Noodles and Booze)..For some reason the price of alcohol is cheaper if u purchase it at Cold Storage(Chivas only)..

But since we have yet to have lunch..We decided to find a place to eat.. And I suggested the world famous Din Tai Fung(鼎泰峰) located underground at The Gardens..

Entrance to Din Tai Fung((鼎泰峰)

One of the dining areas available

Since Diana have to eat vegetarian food today, she has to order food that does not include meat, which means that she has to forgone the very popular and mouth watering XiaoLongPau..However the food that she ordered isnt too bad as well..

Dan Dan Mien..

Her Dan Dan Mien costs Rm10.80..The gravy is made of Peanut so its not meaty. I find it to be a bit salty though.Maybe its because of the sauce..

Vegetable Dumpling

To compensate for the XiaoLongPau , Diana ordered Vegetable Dumpling(Rm9.80). It was delicious but once u tried the XiaoLongPau, you wont want to eat this dumpling at all..Pity Diana..

Janice did not want to eat anything other than the XiaoLongPau so we ordered a combination of it and some other dumpling..

Prawn Dumpling I guess..

The World Famous XiaoLongPau Makes me drool..

The combo costs Rm18.80..The Prawn Dumpling was delicious as when u eat it the juice will flow out..I like to suck the juice out with my mouth but you can also eat it at once..Janice prefer the latter..But the skin was a bit too thick..

But the highlight of the day is of course the XiaoLongPau..I like very very much..Its not too thin nor too thick and I like the juice flowing out from the skin..Overall this dish is a must try..

I also tried the Char Jiang Mien (Rm12.00) which is ok..Not too nice..Still prefer the XiaoLongPau..Although the portion was not too big, the meal definitely made everyone of us full..

Char Jiang Mien..

After that we walked around Midvalley and I took the opportunity to take some pics of the Christmas Decorations around the area..

Diana and Janice..The retired and successor of the Treasurer of SBS SWC..Dont the two of them just look like sisters??

Another picture of the two loving 'Sisters' of SBS SWC..Guess who's older..Haha..

By the end of the day, we bought a LOT of stuffs there..Cup Noodles,Snacks and a bottle of Chivas..It was fun but we spent more than an HOUR trying to buy the most affordable cup noodles for everyone..I already recommended them to purchase the large Vermicelli packet but they refused for some reason..And in the end, it took us more than an HOUR..Lol..

But 'kudos' to Janice for 'willing' to take back all of the items back to her house first since its a bit too inconvenient for me and Diana to take it back..

Looking forward to the New Year Countdown Trip where Booze and Cup Noodles await us..

Don't Believe In Love

Dont Believe In Love - Dido

I wanna go to bed
With arms around me
But wake up on my own
Pretend
That I'm still sleeping
Til' you go home

Oh
I can't look at you
This morning
I should probably have a sign
That says
'Leave right now or quicker'
You've overstayed your time

If I don't believe in love
Nothing will last for me
If I don't believe in love
Nothing is safe for me
When I don't believe in love
You're too close to me
And that's why
You have to leave

Maybe I slept peaceful
On your shoulder
Your arm warm around my side
But it's different now
It's morning
And I can't face your smile

The second that I feel
Your safe hands
Reaching out for mine
I slip away and out of sight
You've ovestayed your time

If I don't believe in love
Nothing is good for me
If I don't believe in love
Nothing will last for me
When I don't believe in love
Nothing is new for me
Nothing is wrong for me
And nothing is real for me

When I don't believe in love
Why do you care for me?
When I don't believe in love
Nothing is real for me
If I don't believe in love
You're getting too close to me
And that's why you have to leave
And that's why you have to leave

If I don't believe in love
If I don't believe in love
If I don't believe in love
Nothing is left for me
If I don't believe in love
You're too good for me

Wisdom Tooth..

Just a few months ago ,my friend were complaining of her wisdom tooth..It has been haunting her for a few days already. I was laughing at her for being so unlucky and grateful for not having it myself.

Few months later, the inevitable has happened, I am proud to announce that I've become the latest victim of the 'Wisdom Tooth' phenomenon.

The symptoms were obvious, when I was eating there would be some weird feeling on my teeth. I thought it was something that aint serious. But today it gets worst, so I decided to look into the mirror and see if there's anything wrong. When I saw it, I have that WTF expression..Urggh..

Going to see the dentist tomorrow..Wish me luck..Christmas just keeps getting worst and worst every year..

Tea Time at Pavilion KL

After my Japanese class(Very Tough) at Kl Plaza I decided to head on to Pavilion KL for a simple tea time meal before heading on to UM for the Sports Carnival

Well this year they decided to put their Christmas Tree just outside the main entrance.IMHO its basically the same tree like last year, just that they changed it to gold from purple. But its still a crowd puller as many people took pictures of the tree with their phones or their DSLR. Have yet to visit the other major shopping centers so cant compare it now..

As for my tea time meal, I went to MOF (Ministry of Food, Not related to MOS though) which is located next to Pasta Mania..Its basically a Japanese kind of like a dessert shop that sells ice-cream, gelato , and other nice desserts. Their slogan is ”毎日MOFの日です" or Everyday is MOF day..

The slogan for Ministry Of Food..

Its actually my third being here therefore I ordered my favourite Kurimitsu(ChestNut) flavored Ice-cream which costs about Rm5.50. Portion was just right and the ice-cream's nice as well but might be bit ridiculously sweet for first-timers.

Next I tried their new item which resembles a mini waffle...I tried the white
chocolate sprinkled with black chocolate flakes on top of it..

I personally do not like it as its a bit too soft and the flavor does not complement the waffle. Luckily it only cost Rm3.00 or I'll be venting my frustration in this blog. But nonetheless MOF its a nice place to enjoy great desserts and hangout with your friends. And it also offers free WI-FI for those who wanna check their mails and blogs..

Will post about the sports carnival if I have time..

NXE( New Xbox Experience)

The NXE update was launched on the 19th November this month. Everyone was eager to download it to experience the new interface. But as I was super busy these few weeks(Sbs Nite) , I only get to download it last night.

The download time was long though, around 90 minutes.I switched it on about 11.30Pm,I can only get to play it about 1 in the morning. Fortunately, I was smart enough to study my IEC coursework while waiting for the download to finish.

At 1am the Xbox has finally be updated. After a very cool intro about the NXE, I was required to create my own avatar which I took a bit of time to create it(FIFA more important k!?) . As for the interface, i find it very nice and different from the old dashboard. But other things could have been improved.

Luckily there was Kern, one of the best players LYN has ever seen. Since we were waiting for the rest of the guys to finish their game, I had two quick friendlies with him. The first match ended in a thrashing by him which also includes an embarassing own goal by my own Ferdinand. For a dude who just got his game on that day itself , he was playing very well. He did some passes that were spectacular and his first touch was awesome where his Anelka did some wicked turning to my defender's suprise. I only one shot through the match. T.T

Finally when Terra and the rest are ready for a Club game, the servers was very lag and we waited for quite some time before we can even join a game. But then when I was about to start the game, I was DC-ed from the match. The rest of them had no problems leaving me stranded on the dressing room waiting for them to finish their game. I tried again the second time later after they lost the game and the same thing happened again. I thought it was because I did not install the game into the hard drive(NXE Feature) and then I left for a while to install it(10 Mins)

After that I tried again but this time I was the captain and Thank God , I was able to play my Club game. But we lost the next two matches as our passing werent that good through the whole match and my positioning was very bad. Need to practice a lot..

In my last game , I was dc-ed again. I think its because I wasnt the captain. Maybe next time have to be captain kua. But it was a fun experience although short-lived. Cant wait to improve my skills after my busy weeks are over.

Difficulties adding widgets to my blog..

Today is the 4th day that I've set up this blog and yet I'm facing difficulties in adding widgets to it..Most of my friend's blogs have those very nice visitor's counter thingy and cbox.. The website sounded very easy to set it up yet it took me a few hours of frustration to get it right.

I admit that I'm a super newbie at blogging..Dun understand how u guys can make it very nice and beautiful with all those nice fonts and colors. Maybe its me being lazy in reading those very long 'step by step' guides(Programmed learning method,Managing People) but I find it hard to make my blog look good.

Feel free to comment on making it right..And give me some ideas la wei..Appreciate it..Lol..

Stuck in the Monorail Station..

Today's experience at the Kl Sentral monorail station have confirmed Malaysia's continuous problem of failing to maintain their public transportation..

My Japanese Language class was at 2pm.Therefore, I leave my house around 12 to make sure that I'm not late for my class.Normally I'll arrive at ICLS around 1 ,at least I can get to spend an hour walking around Pavilion..

I arrived at the Kl Sentral station about 12.30 and after I bought my ticket I went up to the waiting area where I see many ppl waiting outside since the Monorail was already full of people. This situation normally happens especially during weekends. Then suddenly the monorail conductor started ordering everyone inside to leave the monorail. In the end,the monorail have to be stopped for some service check I guess..

I thought it was just a fluke as few minutes another monorail came by,the doors were opened and everyone started rushing in to the monorail. I'm always the patient one so I was thinking of boarding the next monorail. But to everyone's suprise the conductor again ordered everyone out of the monorail. And there was I thinking, what could have caused two monorails to stop their service..And thus everyone waited at the monorail station hoping to board it to their destination but for the next 50 minutes 5 or 6 monorails have came and left without any passengers straight into their maintenance area.

At first, there was a massive crowd but then people started to get fed up and opted for an exchange to take a different mode of transportation instead.I chose to stay instead but since my class's gonna start soon I have no choice but to take another route instead.

After I got my refund, I took the Putra LRT to Dang Wangi and walked to the area from there but it was quite a wrong move as it was a long route, I was tired and exhausted but managed to walk my way to ICLS. In the end, I arrived around 45 minutes late which wasnt that embarassing since Ning, my Japanese Language classmate arrived five minutes later..haha..

Overall ,I had a nightmare today on taking Malaysia's public transport. To wait for an hour for monorail is nothing short of being a disaster. Perhaps if its in the U.S people would have started suing them for compensation..Should I do it too? Lol..

Hangover..

Its 4.46Pm in the afternoon and I'm still having a hangover after my night outing yesterday. I was convinced that my mind is still clear about yesterday's events and I'm not drunk!!..

Still remember the cute Cindy and Hanna and the other girl who is as equally drunk as Kenneth.

But now the worst thing to do is to make myself normal by the time mum comes and fetch me back home. Anyway, I'm happy to be able to go home after 2 weeks. 2 weeks of no hot water, fast internet and family love...

I think I'm beginning to love blogging..Sei lo..

Memories of '6-7'...

Yesterday we have a new lecturer/tutor for our Managing People. He's quite young, maybe a new lecturer I guess.. But as I was talking to Yen Loo about the printing money, he told me to sit down or I'll have to leave the class..He also asked Chi Fei to leave the class for talking with his back facing him. If he had not noticed it, he would have a hard time.

During the tutorial, he was quite strict, we're not allowed to talk and do anything with our mobile phone. He reminds me of the strict ice hockey coach from the Tv series 'Pride',strict with his players.Urggh... Other than that, he's quite a good person I guess. It's just that his approach might be too strict.

Anyway '6-7' is actually a name for a person named Richard. He was my driving instructor last time and I can tell you that he is one of the worst people that I have ever met. He's very rude, always scold his students and has a face that resembles an ugly brute. He scolded me in a very bad way back on my first lesson with him. I dreaded my lesson every time I went for my driving lesson. Luckily I got my license and I do not wish to see him ever again or for him to remember me.

So this is my first official post on this blog eh..Haha..

Introduction?

Blogspot..A haven for people to express their own views, vent their frustrations and complaint just about anything has finally lured me to try and have a go at this 'haven'.

Blogging is something that I did last time just as a homework during my English lessons during college. However it was quite an enjoyable experience as I get to write whatever I want on this blog.

Creating this blog is easier than I thought. I just need to sign into my gmail, and fill in some details, and kaotim liao.

Anyway..Welcome to my blog..どぞよろしく。
