Stuck in the Monorail Station..

Today's experience at the Kl Sentral monorail station have confirmed Malaysia's continuous problem of failing to maintain their public transportation..

My Japanese Language class was at 2pm.Therefore, I leave my house around 12 to make sure that I'm not late for my class.Normally I'll arrive at ICLS around 1 ,at least I can get to spend an hour walking around Pavilion..

I arrived at the Kl Sentral station about 12.30 and after I bought my ticket I went up to the waiting area where I see many ppl waiting outside since the Monorail was already full of people. This situation normally happens especially during weekends. Then suddenly the monorail conductor started ordering everyone inside to leave the monorail. In the end,the monorail have to be stopped for some service check I guess..

I thought it was just a fluke as few minutes another monorail came by,the doors were opened and everyone started rushing in to the monorail. I'm always the patient one so I was thinking of boarding the next monorail. But to everyone's suprise the conductor again ordered everyone out of the monorail. And there was I thinking, what could have caused two monorails to stop their service..And thus everyone waited at the monorail station hoping to board it to their destination but for the next 50 minutes 5 or 6 monorails have came and left without any passengers straight into their maintenance area.

At first, there was a massive crowd but then people started to get fed up and opted for an exchange to take a different mode of transportation instead.I chose to stay instead but since my class's gonna start soon I have no choice but to take another route instead.

After I got my refund, I took the Putra LRT to Dang Wangi and walked to the area from there but it was quite a wrong move as it was a long route, I was tired and exhausted but managed to walk my way to ICLS. In the end, I arrived around 45 minutes late which wasnt that embarassing since Ning, my Japanese Language classmate arrived five minutes later..haha..

Overall ,I had a nightmare today on taking Malaysia's public transport. To wait for an hour for monorail is nothing short of being a disaster. Perhaps if its in the U.S people would have started suing them for compensation..Should I do it too? Lol..
